Game Modes[]
Currently, there are two types of game modes available in the full version of Blockscape. Each gamemode has different styles of gameplay, and will have new features added periodically. To select a game mode, run Blockscape and sign in. User will be prompted to select a game mode to use and is given two choices:
Normal Mode (demo and full version)[]
- This game mode requires the user to "mine" or "collect" materials in order to build things.
- Currently there are no tools, and the user may collect material by right clicking the area to collect from. This will put an amount of the selected material in the user's inventory that can be used to build.
- Flying is not enabled.
- The world generates (temporarly a predetermined map) and the user is free to explore wherever.
- Two map types available are "Normal" and "Infinite Plane".
God Mode (full version only)[]
- This game mode does not require any gathering of items or materials.
- The user has all block types readily available in the inventory
- The user has the ability to fly
